In 1987 Alex Garber and Boris Serebryany founded Fiera Foods. Merging their engineering and manufacturing backgrounds soon provided for a strong and successful company partnership.
The beginning of their venture was the first Fiera plant of 4,200 sq. ft., by 1994 the business expanded to 27,000 sq. ft. 1995 brought another expansion adding 60,000 sq. ft. to accommodate the growth within the North American market. In 1998, another 140,000 sq. ft. facility was erected and Bakery Deluxe was added to the portfolio. This additional capacity aided in the growth of not only the frozen raw bakery production, but also now enabled them to mass produce baked goods.
It is now 2004, Fiera Foods and Bakery Deluxe Company are once again growing with now over 1,000 employees strong and an additional 50,000 square feet for expanded production capabilities as well as an added 70,000 square feet in freezer storage, and 70,000 square feet of dry storage, totaling 400,000 square feet. Programs which we are actively involved in include: Accredited Audits; Kosher Certification; Allergen Controls; Health & Safety Program; Preventative Pest Program; Bioterrorism Act Registration; ECC / UCC Participant and the NAFTA Registration.
Our Kosher designated mix of products include: Bagels, Croissants, Danish, Puff Pastry, Cookies, Cinnamon Rolls, Muffins, and Cakes. Not only does Fiera Foods Company offer a wide range of bakery products, we offer many production methods. Choose from proof & bake; par-bake; freezer-to-oven or thaw and sell.
Our involvement doesn't end with our products. Fiera Foods company is a proud sponsor of local charities such as the Colitis Foundation; Supporter of the SickKids Foundation; the Breast Cancer Foundation and other valuable charities that improve quality of life.
